Hand wire brushes are made of high quality crimped wires, which may be made of steel, stainless steel or brass. You can choose between 1 to 6 rows of wires on each brush. The standard manual wire brushes have a handle made of beech wood and a hole for hanging. For special applications, we also offer brushes with plastic handles. Types of wire and use:

Crimped steel: for the removal of coatings and impurities from less sensitive and non-sensitive areas.
Crimped brass: for the processing of non-ferrous metals and sensitive areas. The wire is brass, not brass plated steel!
Crimped stainless steel: for the preparatipn of copper and brass surfaces and rough removal of coatings and impurities.

Simply put your brushes and rollers in a plastic bag and wrap them well. Keep them for the next day in a cool place to prevent the paint drying out.

VOC Directive

Do you know that Slovenia, as a member of the European Union, has established a strict environmental legislation, a part of which is the VOC Directive (Volatile Organic Compounds) since 2004 on limiting the volatile organic compounds (VOC). In practice, this means that for its implementation we have to replace the organic solvents-based coatings with water-based coatings. The brushes from natural bristles are no longer very suitable for its application, a better choice are synthetic bristle brushes or a combination of both.
